Lee Corso is back on College Gameday, and marked his return with one heck of an upset pick. Coach is back, and we’re happy to see him healthy.
Lee Corso missed several weeks of the show he helped make a Saturday staple due to what ESPN described as unspecified health issues. Without digging too much into that, Corso has since stated that he’s feeling much better, and was ready to rock on the Gameday set with an upset pick that would rock the College Football Playoff.

The TCU Horned Frogs face a tough road test on Saturday against the 6-4 Baylor Bears. While TCU is the fourth-ranked team in the nation, and for now slotted into the final College Football Playoff spot, a loss would derail their season.
Corso wants to see all the chaos.
The former coach apparently picked Baylor to upset TCU on Saturday. Leave it to Corso to return to the national stage with a bang.
Were TCU to lose on Saturday, it would open up the fourth CFP spot for the likes of Tennessee, LSU and USC.
Corso also stated that he doesn’t consider TCU or Michigan as CFP-worthy.

Upon Corso’s return, college football fans and pundits welcomed him back with open arms, and took to social media to show their support.

Great to see Lee Corso back on @CollegeGameDay, but people need to stop whining about "mean ESPN" putting him there. This is his choice, college football is his love.

It sure is nice to see how Kirk Herbstreit treats Lee Corso on the Gameday set. It’s nice to see such respect and admiration. Our society could use more of that! Our elders should be revered and appreciated. Aging gracefully (not trying to be “younger”) is worthy of respect.

It’s so good seeing Lee Corso back on the GameDay set…although I don’t know if having him out there in that cold weather is the best idea ESPN has ever had.

Corso braved the cold Montana weather (negative temperature to be exact) to make his picks.
“I’m happy to be here. I missed you guys like crazy,” Corso added.
While some were upset to see what looked to be an uncomfortable Corso in such tough conditions, it was his choice to return, and he’s done so with class and dignity.
