Texas A&M reaching new lows vs. UMass has fans’ Jimbo Fisher conspiracies cooking
By John Buhler
Texas A&M having issues with UMass has people tinfoil hatting about Jimbo Fisher once again.
Nobody does less with more than Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher, which is why the Aggies are struggling with … UMass.
Of all the teams who play in the SEC now, and in the future, Texas A&M is the only team that is guaranteed to not go to a bowl game this year. The Aggies are 3-7 on the season, having lost six conference games in a row. They just lost on the road to Auburn interim head coach Carnell “Cadillac” Williams last week. Even Vanderbilt is still in the mix to achieve sacred bowl eligibility.
As expected, Texas A&M fans are not having a good time in the early part of the UMass game…
Jimbo Fisher may need to beat UMass to save his gig leading Texas A&M now
To understand how cataclysmic of a loss it would be for the Aggies to fall to the Minutemen, you must analyze the Minutemen’s football prowess. While they have had success at lower levels of college football in their history, they have not been to a bowl game since making the leap up to the FBS level. The Minutemen have not won more than four games in a year since moving up in 2012.
So the Minutemen are 1-9 on the season and are not getting their doors blown off by, at one point, the No. 6 team in the country! There are more letters in the word Kyle than Texas A&M has wins. There are as many letters in the world Field as the number of wins the Aggies can have this season. With SEC West champ LSU coming to town next week, Texas A&M is likely to finish at 4-8.
There is more quit in this team than Bobby Hill from nearby Arlen. His dad may have been a helluva player, but he is as useless on the football field at noted towel manager Dale Gribble in between ripping lung darts on the sidelines. Truth be told, Arlen High could beat this team. It is truly amazing how much money can be wasted on one massively overrated head coach like Fisher.
We have not seen a former national championship-winning head coach be as bad at his job in recent years since Les Miles was too busy doing Cameos to know what the hell was going on in Lawrence, Kansas! All the while, Aggies fans have had enough of the empty-calorie sales pitches from Mr. Snake Oil himself. People were born at night, but not last night. This is so deplorably bad.
If Texas A&M loses to UMass, there should be a new and improved version of getting tarmac-ed.
