LSUās College Football Playoff chances are dead after their loss to Texas A&M, and head coach Brian Kelly got trolled.
The LSU Tigers rose up to the No. 5 spot in this past weekās College Football Playoff rankings following Tennesseeās loss to South Carolina. With that, LSU couldnāt afford another loss, considering they already had two to their credit on the season, if they wanted to sneak into the Playoff.
While head coach Brian Kellyās team has shined this season, they couldnāt finish it on a high note. One week before their SEC Championship Game against the Georgia Bulldogs, the Tigers were defeated by the 4-7 Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday.
Considering that Kelly was the subject of memes upon his hiring by LSU, he was trolled relentlessly on social media as their deficit grew.

With Brian Kelly's faceplant tonight against Texas A&M, Shane Beamer HAS to get some SEC Coach of the Year votes. That's going to be a very interesting final tally.

How bad was it for LSU? Well, they didnāt carry the lead for the entire game. Not once through the 60 minutes of game time.
The game was tied at 17 points apiece in the third quarter, but then the floodgates opened when LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels fumbled the ball, which was recovered by defensive back Demari Richardson and returned for a 27-yard touchdown.
From there, the Aggies built upon their lead in impressive fashion. Quarterback Connor Weigman threw a pass to Moose Muhammad III, who used one hand to grab the football and run for a 21-yard touchdown.

Texas A&M then increased their lead to 38-17 on a 10-yard touchdown by Devon Achane.
LSU did score a touchdown by way of a three-yard run by John Emery Jr. to cut the deficit to 38-23, but there was no comeback happening.
The Tigersā Playoff chances may have ended, but they still have the conference title to play for next weekend.
