The Michigan radio call of Donovan Edwards’ game-sealing touchdown against Ohio State will put a smile on Wolverines faces and tears in Buckeye eyes.

Michigan fans are going to want to relive their victory over Ohio State in this year’s rivalry game over and over for the next 48 hours at least.

The Wolverines were underdogs and didn’t play like it. They roasted the Buckeyes through the air to take an advantage, then turned to the ground game to see things out late with two long romps.

The first of those was courtesy of Donovan Edwards, who broke free for a 75-yard score just a few seconds after the Buckeyes made it a one-possession game with a field goal.

For all intents and purposes, Edwards’ touchdown sealed the victory and the Michigan radio announcers knew it.

Edwards had the perfect response to Ohio State dragging themselves back into the game. If Michigan hadn’t come up with an answer, the Buckeyes could have easily ridden the momentum to a win. Instead, Edwards kept the momentum firmly in Michigan’s hands. It was a demoralizing touchdown for the Ohio State defense to give up.

And it wasn’t the only one.

Michigan and Edwards piled on with an even longer score from 85 yards out to really put the game on ice. The Spanish-language broadcast of that one is a thing of beauty.

The Wolverines clinched the Big Ten East title and await their opponent from the West to be decided for the Big Ten Championship Game. A win in that one will send them to the College Football Playoff for the second-straight season.
