College GameDay was in Columbus for the vaunted Michigan vs Ohio State rivalry game and Buckeyes fans showed no mercy with their GameDay signs.

Rivalries often breed a ton of bad blood in college football, but there’s two fan bases better at exemplifying that than the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines. Whether it’s crossing out M’s or consistently mocking the “The”, these two groups of fans have no problems taking their shots at one another no matter the circumstances.

However, when the stakes are raised, that’s when things start to get even more hostile. So it was only fitting that ESPN would head to Columbus in the final week of the regular season for College GameDay for a clash between undefeated Ohio State and undefeated Michigan with Big Ten Championship and College Football Playoff hopes hanging in the balance.

The fans showed out big outside of Ohio Stadium, as you’d expect. But the level of vitriol between the fan bases was never more evident than by taking a look around at the GameDay signs.

Ohio State-Michigan GameDay signs: Best of Buckeyes destroying Wolverines in Columbus

Ohio State fans were ready with the ammo to completely destroy Michigan and their fans in any way possible — though one Wolverines fan did manage to slip into the mix.

But the best one of the morning might go to this one, taking aim at the quality of a Michigan education with the help of Mr. Patrick Star.

Just some beautiful execution with some of these GameDay signs. It’s always a great tradition on Saturday mornings to see fans take shots at their favorite team’s opponent, but it’s even better when you have the history and hate behind it like what the Ohio State-Michigan rivalry brings us.
