Lincoln Riley just landed a Jordan Addison replacement for Caleb Williams

USC head coach Lincoln Riley raided another program for their best wide receiver, picking up Dorian Singer from Arizona after an outstanding season.

When you field offenses that are as impressive as the ones Lincoln Riley produces year after year, it’s easy to convince top receiving talent to come join in the fun.

Riley pulled at off with Jordan Addison, the Biletnikoff Award winner from Pitt who joined the Trojans ahead of the 2022 season.

Now, with Addison expected to leave for the NFL, Heisman-winning quarterback Caleb Williams will have a new stud receiver joining his receiving corps.

Former Arizona wide receiver Dorian Singer announced his commitment to the Trojans on Monday, completing a trio of ex-Wildcats joining via the transfer portal along with defensive lineman Kyon Barrs and cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace.

Singer was an AP All-Pac-12 first team selection after leading Arizona with 1,105 yards on 66 catches. He had six touchdown catches.

Riley and the Trojans got a first-hand look at what kind of damage Singer is capable of when he caught seven passes for 141 yards and three touchdowns against them when Arizona met USC in October.

His one-handed catch was one of the highlights of the season for the Wildcats.

It’s no wonder the 6-foot-1, 190-pound WR landed on USC’s radar after that.

Singer was a sophomore in 2021, so he will have a few years of eligibility to work with when he arrives for classes in Los Angeles.

The Trojans are expected to lose Addison to the draft but the rest of USC’s major contributors at the position should be back, including second-leading receiver Tahj Washington and third-leading receiver Mario Williams.

Reinforcements are also arriving through the 2023 recruiting class with five-star receiver Zachariah Branch and Makai Lemon set to sign with the Trojans.
