Jim Harbaugh will land Michigan another stud EDGE with Nyckoles Harbor

We could definitely have to wait a bit before we see a commitment from Nyckoles Harbor but it’ll be well worth it whenever he does announce where he’s going given the talent we’re talking about with the No. 16 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite.

The 6-foot-5, 225-pounder out of Washington, D.C. is drawing big interest from Michigan, LSU, USC, South Carolina, Maryland and Miami but has 43 offers overall to consider, which speaks to his talent. For his size, he’s a phenomenal athlete that has played on the edge in high school but has the physical traits and frame to move depending on where he lands.

While the one prediction on 247Sports has Harbor going to South Carolina, there’s a lot of time left and I think we see Jim Harbaugh and his staff swoop in to land him. Michigan has been phenomenal at producing NFL Draft-caliber edge rushers with various body types. Harbor fits that and the mold of the athlete that the Wolverines love to develop and have had success doing so.

Nyckoles Harbor has not set a time to announce his commitment.

Georgia will keep churning out defensive stuns by landing Damon Wilson

It’d be fitting for Early Signing Day for the top-ranked unsigned recruit to end up with the 2021-22 National Champions and the favorites to repeat that feat this year, Georgia.

Damon Wilson is an elite pass-rusher already in his college career with a strong 6-foot-4, 230-pound frame to go with a shockingly polished array of pass-rushing moves that allow him to attack and win in a variety of ways. He’s the exact type of player that we’ve seen succeed at Georgia but perhaps with less development needed than some others like Travon Walker.

Right now, it’s looking like the battle for Wilson leading into Wednesday is between Georgia and Ohio State, but the track record of the Bulldogs leads me to believe that Smart and his elite recruiting staff won’t allow him to slip away as they’ll add another 5-star to the locker room in Athens.

Damon Wilson has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs.
