1. UGA doesn’t need to act like it has been there before; the Dawgs already have

Don’t think for a second that big-game experience does not matter. Although Michigan made the playoff a season ago, the Wolverines got blown out by the Dawgs in the Orange Bowl, and Cade McNamara was starting at quarterback for them over J.J. McCarthy. Ohio State played for a national title two years ago, but that was with a different corps and during the height of COVID.

As for TCU, the Horned Frogs are the first team hailing from the Big 12 not named Oklahoma to even make the College Football Playoff. To date, the Big 12 is the only Power Five conference to never win a playoff game. If TCU loses to Michigan, it will fall to 0-5 all time. So to say Georgia needs to act like it has been there before it a moot point, as the Bulldogs most definitely have.

Ultimately, we know for a fact the lights are not going to be too bright for them. Yes, they could lose a heartbreaker to any of these three national semifinalists, but being afraid of the amplified stage is not going to be the reason. By getting the proverbial monkey off their back in Indianapolis last year, all the pressure is off the Dawgs to see if they can go out there do this thing once more.

Georgia already knows it can win the whole thing, as illustrated by the run it went on last season.
