Tee Higgins mom reacts angrily at Bart Scott’s comments about her son

Bart Scott spoke insolently about Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, and Higgins’ mother is infuriated at the incident. 

When Bart Scott blamed Tee Higgins for the horrific ordeal involving Bills safety Damar Hamlin, Twitter exploded. Now, Higgins’ mom is angry and should be.

Camilla “Lady” Stewart took to Twitter to voice her clear anger towards Scott for even speaking in such terms.

She was not alone. Fans also took to social media, citing that what happened was not Higgins’ fault and was just a freak accident, the opposite of what Scott spewed.

This is, again, not the first time that Bart Scott has chosen to go this route. Few will forget the “red dot” incident involving Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. That incident sparked justifiable outrage as the comments essentially amounted to a “bounty.” This, on the other hand, just got worse now that mama is involved.

If there is one thing no man wants to see, it’s a mother who is not only angry but defending her son. Higgins’ mother has every right to be angry and to go after Scott because, essentially, Scott questioned his character.

Micah Parsons already went after Scott, and other notable fans are joining him. Now, Mom just got involved. That’s a big shift in anger. Scott better start thinking of apologizing because if not, it’s only going to get worse.

Damar Hamlin’s own father got involved, stating that anyone blaming Higgins for the injury is misguided, per Coley Harvey of ESPN. Surely, Scott will do the right thing and either retract his comment fully or clarify what he meant.

The hit from Higgins could’ve happened on any NFL play. That’s what makes this so scary in the first place.
