CFP National Championship ticket prices: How much does it cost to get in?
Georgia and TCU will battle for the CFP National Championship on Monday, Jan. 9 at SoFi Stadium but how much are tickets to get into the game?
Both the Georgia Bulldogs and TCU Horned Frogs have played 14 games to this point. All that matters now is the one that remains. On Monday, Jan. 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET, the two teams will go toe-to-toe in the CFP National Championship at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, just outside of Los Angeles.
Kirby Smart’s Dawgs are looking to repeat as national champions after upending Alabama in last year’s title game but are also looking to one-up that effort. If UGA can take the title this season behind former walk-on quarterback Stetson Bennett IV yet again, the Bulldogs will complete a perfect 15-0 season as they hoist the trophy.
Sonny Dukes and the Horned Frogs are trying to spoil the party, though. This TCU team was never projected to be in this point, but they ran through a perfect regular season before getting tripped up in the Big 12 Championship Game. They rebounded to shock Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl semifinal matchup and are looking to pull off another surprise and win the program’s first title since before World War II.
This is going to be a frenetic and heated contest, but how much would it cost to be there? As it turns out, the CFP National Championship ticket prices actually aren’t as astronomical as you might think.
CFP National Championship ticket prices for Georgia vs TCU
According to the resell market on SeatGeek, the cheapest ticket price to get into SoFi Stadium for Georgia and TCU playing is only $308 with numerous options under $350. While that’s not a negligible amount of money, it’s much less pricey than some would expect.
That makes sense to some degree, however. Athens, GA is across the country from Inglewood and Fort Worth, TX isn’t exactly close to the stadium either. That creates quite a haul for the heart of each team’s fanbase, which then depresses the market value of ticket prices for the CFP National Championship.
Those are the cheap seats, though, located in the 500-level of the massive stadium. SeatGeek also lists the average ticket prices for the game at $1,406 and the most expensive suite tickets for the matchup are listed at north of $25,000.
