CFP National Championship Game 2023: Georgia vs TCU live stream, start time, TV channel, injury report, radio broadcast
Georgia will face TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on Monday, Jan. 9 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
Even if they weren’t the favorites coming into the year, most people expected that Kirby Smart could get the Georgia Bulldogs back to the CFP National Championship Game. What almost no one thought would happen, however, is that Sonny Dykes in his first year at TCU would be able to take the Horned Frogs from unranked in the preseason to one win away from capturing the natty.
That, however, is the stage set for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA on Monday night as Stetson Bennett IV and Max Duggan, two Heisman Trophy finalists from this season, will try to lead their teams to victory. At the end of the game, though, only one of the two will be able to get their hands on the trophy at the end of the College Football Playoff rainbow.
It was a wild semifinal road for both teams. TCU jumped out to a commanding lead over Michigan in the Fiesta Bowl but had to fend off a fierce second-half comeback to punch their ticket. Meanwhile, it was Georgia that needed to come back against Ohio State in one of the best bowl games of all time, punctuated with the Buckeyes missing a last-second field goal that would’ve won the game.
How they got here barely matters now, though. It’s all about 60 minutes in SoFi to determine a national champion. And here’s what you need to know to watch Monday night’s clash.

Georgia vs TCU injury report for the CFP National Championship Game
There are three major Georgia football injury report updates that Dawgs fans will be watching for Monday night. Behemoth tight end Darnell Washington left the Peach Bowl with an ankle injury and his status has been monitored all week. He’s listed as questionable but Kirby Smart did offer some optimism that he could play. Meanwhile, offensive tackle Warren McClendon (knee) and wide receiver Ladd McConkey (knee) are both listed as probable and should play.
As for TCU, the only new injury that Horned Frogs fans are monitoring is that of star running back Kendre Miller, who suffered a knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl win over Michigan. He is listed as questionable but Sonny Dykes has been hopeful that Miller will be able to play. If he’s unable to go, he’ll be replaced by Emari Demercaro, who rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown against Michigan.
