Georgia head coach Kirby Smart got an NSFW update to his Wikipedia page after his Bulldogs stomped all over TCU in the national title game.

There’s a longstanding tradition of Wikipedia page updates after impressive sporting performances. Kirby Smart was on the right end of one on Monday night after his Georgia Bulldogs trounced the TCU Horned Frogs.

The Bulldogs were looking to repeat last year’s national title success and it took all of five minutes for them to make it clear that they would not be stopped.

TCU trailed 10-0 halfway through the first quarter. The rout was truly on by halftime as Georgia scored two touchdowns in the final 90 seconds of the second quarter, leading 38-7 at the break.

So naturally, someone went and gave Smart’s Wiki an edit.

In terms of Wikipedia edit creativity, that one’s not particularly special, but when your team scores the most points ever scored in a national title game with the biggest margin of victory in history, creativity isn’t necessary to pull off an internet burn.

What Smart has pulled off in the last two seasons is nothing short of impressive. The Bulldogs have lost just one game in two seasons. That one loss was in the SEC Championship Game against Alabama, and they avenged it a few weeks later in a National Championship Game rematch.

It’s hard enough to lead a team to one national title. It’s a whole different challenge to motivate a team to return the next year and up the ante by going undefeated.

Smart has established Georgia as the premiere program in college football going into the 2023 season. We’ll see what he’s got up his sleeve next.
