It’s down to one game in the 2022 NFL season. Here’s a review of the rich history involving the 28 franchises that have reached the Super Bowl.

On Feb. 12 in Glendale, AZ, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will clash in Super Bowl LVII. The Chiefs toppled the Bengals in a tightly contested thriller to punch their ticket from the AFC Championship Game while the Eagles dismantled a short-handed 49ers team at quarterback to capture the NFC. Now one will try to put their name among the long list of Super Bowl winners.

Both the Chiefs and Eagles have not only been to the Super Bowl in recent years, each team has won one. Kansas City captured the win in Super Bowl LIV back in 2020 while the Eagles toppled the Patriots behind Nick Foles in an unforgettable affair for Super Bowl LII in 2018.

That is just a sampling of Super Bowl winners, though. A look at the results of the previous 56 Super Sundays.
