The NBA All-Star Game reserves for the 2023 event in Utah were announced and now we have the full East and West rosters that captains will pick from.
We’re not far off from the 2023 NBA All-Star Game as the league’s best will head to Utah and Salt Lake City for this year’s festivities.
But while everyone wants to see the fun of Friday and Saturday night with the Slam Dunk Contest, 3-Point Contest, Rising Stars and Skills Challenge, the game itself is still the main event. And on Thursday night, the 2023 NBA All-Star reserves were announced, completing the rosters.
Now, the format means that this isn’t what the teams will look like on the night of the All-Star Game as there will be a draft just before tip-off for a pick-up style feel, but these are the players who have earned their spot on the rosters.

There are some big snubs. In the East, perhaps the biggest is Raptors wing Pascal Siakam, who has been one of the best in the NBA this season. Somehow, he was beaten out, but perhaps he could find his way onto the East roster depending on the injury situations for some players.
As for the West, Lakers fans will be quick to point out that Anthony Davis deserves it based on his play this season. However, the likely reason he didn’t make the cut is the simple fact that he’s missed a substantial amount of time due to injury.
