With a dry sense of humor and a shroud of nonchalance, Nikola Jokic is a walking viral quote. He didn’t disappoint after finishing the Heat in Game 5.

Nikola Jokic might have just cemented his status as the best basketball player in the world after putting up 28 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists as helped the Nuggets close out the Miami Heat in Game 5. He’s also, one of the best postgame interviews in the entire league and his typically dry answers after winning the first title in franchise history were 100 percent on brand and almost as delightful as his production.

Asked how it felt to be an NBA champion, Jokic said, “It’s good, it’s good. The job is done, we can go home now.”

But if you were worried that Jokic wasn’t really feeling the moment, fear not. A few minutes later, cameras caught him celebrating with his wife, daughter and brothers.

And after that, you could see a bit more emotion as he was presented with the trophy for NBA Finals MVP.

If you’re wondering what Jokic is going to do now that he’s reached the summit of the NBA, he told us in another interview earlier in the series. He’s going to buy another horse and then head back to Serbia to race it.

Maybe they’ll let him bring his horses to the parade? Either way, enjoy the offseason big fella, you absolutely earned some rest and relaxation.
