WWE SummerSlam future locations for 2024, 2025 and beyond
WWE SummerSlam future locations to see where the biggest Premium Live Event in wrestling of the summer will be heading next.
WWE SummerSlam is one of the flagship professional wrestling events annually. While certainly not on the level of spectacle as WrestleMania, it’s a massive WWE event that fans will always tune into. And if you’re lucky enough or eager enough, it’s one of the hottest tickets on the market too.
After we saw WrestleMania 39 take place in “Hollywood”, or more specifically at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA, WWE SummerSlam 2023 will take us to a more blue-collar city as it will be held at Ford Field in Detroit. It’s the first time that WWE has come to the home of the Detroit Lions at Ford Field since 2007, which should make for a raucous crowd.
One thing that fans are always wondering about, however, is where WWE SummerSlam or any of the major Premium Live Events are heading next. It’s not something that the pro wrestling company typically schedules out in advance. But let’s try to answer some questions about the WWE SummerSlam future locations for 2024, 2025 and moving forward.
WWE SummerSlam future locations for 2024, 2025 and beyond
The WWE SummerSlam location for 2024 was announced for Cleveland Browns Stadium in Ohio. That took place on Saturday, Aug. 3, and saw Cody Rhodes defend the WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in the main event of the show. But here's a look at the confirmed SummerSlam locations in 2025 and 2026.
WWE SummerSlam 2025 official location
As for 2025, WWE announced on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, SummerSlam will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on Saturday, Aug. 2, and Sunday, Aug. 3. This will officially be the first two-night SummerSlam in WWE history, following the same format at WrestleMania.
This will be the first WWE event held inside MetLife Stadium since WrestleMania 35 back in 2019.
WWE SummerSlam 2026 official location
As for 2026, that will be held at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn, on Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Aug. 2. US Bank Stadium, home of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings, had been in the running for a future WrestleMania, but will instead get a two-night SummerSlam in 2026.
This is the first time that a SummerSlam will be held in Minneapolis since 1999, which saw Mankind defeat "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Triple H for the WWE Championship in the main event.
We will keep you updated in this space with any updates about future WWE SummerSlam locations when that information is revealed.
