The football world was devastated to hear the news today that Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones could miss the entire season after suffering a foot injury during Monday’s loss to the New York Jets. Jones is an amazingly gifted athlete who it’s a privilege to watch play the greatest sport in the world at arguably the highest level at hi position.

While fantasy football is trivial, it’s still important to look at the impact some of the other Falcons players will have in the fantasy football world with Jones now out, and WR Harry Douglas may be the player who sees his value boosted the most with Jones out, as FootballGuys.com’s Sigmund Bloom wrote:

Douglas is obviously going to see his usage increase as well, and he’s a player that likely will vault up to WR3 status now, but he hasn’t really been much of a fantasy producer this year even with Roddy White injured.

Be sure to pick up Douglas in any league he’s available in, but don’t expect him to produce at a blistering rate, even in Atlanta’s pass-happy offense.
