There were some reports that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady could be dealing with an undisclosed hand injury coming in to today’s game against the Miami Dolphins, and that could explain why he has looked as poorly as he has during today’s game.

After halftime, the cameras showed off a close up view of Brady’s hand, which showed some clear swelling that could contribute to a lack of control of the ball.

There is no official word on Brady’s hand and he has continued playing, but you can’t deny the swelling could be having an impact on his performance. Just look at the swelling in a screen grab from the broadcast below:
