In the final two minutes of the first half between the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers, the Falcons were able to come up with a big swing in momentum to head into halftime. After an ill-advised throw from Cam Newton, Falcons rookie defensive back Robert Alford was able to come up with a huge play to get the interception.

Newton tried to throw the ball out of the back of the endzone, but he didn’t have enough on it and Alford made a great play.

Initially, the play was ruled incomplete, but the review showed that Alford was able to get his right foot in bounds and drag his left foot.
