Atlanta Falcons vs. Buffalo Bills final score: Falcons win 34-31 in overtime

Fans at the Rogers Centre in Toronto were treated to an exciting game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Capitalizing on an overtime fumble by Buffalo tight end Scott Chandler, the Falcons won the game 34-31 on a 36-yard kick from Matt Bryant.

The loss moves the Falcons to 3-9 on the year while the Bills are now 4-8.

Matt Ryan completed 28 of his 47 pass attempts for the Falcons, throwing for 311 yards and a touchdown (which was caught by veteran tight end Tony Gonzalez). Steven Jackson contributed 84 yards on the ground and two touchdowns of his own, including a score from one yard out to tie the game at 31 with 1:28 left in the fourth quarter.

After Jackson’s game-tying touchdown, Buffalo’s final drive in regulation ended with a fumble by wide receiver Stevie Johnson.

C.J. Spiller was the star of the day for the Bills, rushing for 149 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. Rookie quarterback EJ Manuel completed 18 of his 32 pass attempts for 210 yards and a touchdown. He also scored a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
