Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is off to a perfect start against the New York Giants. He has completed all 12 of his passes for 111 yards and one touchdown. That touchdown was a 19-yard pass to Logan Paulsen. Griffin had also rushed five times for 28 yards.

Paulsen gets hit as he tries to get into the end zone on the strike, but he hangs on for the score. That gave the Redskins a commanding 14-0 lead early in the second quarter.

The Redskins would pull even with the Giants in the standings if they win the game. Any win at this point is good for their spirits. If the Redskins won this game, and every game after this season they’d finish the season at .500.
