This was the story that launched a thousand Brent Musburger jokes. According to AL.com, the FBI was on-hand to patrol AJ McCarron’s wedding to Katherine Webb due to fears about stalkers.

More from Cincinnati Bengals

Though Musburger has been very public in expressing his admiration for Katherine Webb and her many charms, it is not known if the FBI had the legendary broadcaster in mind specifically when they dispatched agents to the wedding.

It’s also not known if Darnell Dockett has been flagged by the FBI as a potential Webb stalker, but after all the slobbering Dockett has done over the former Miss Alabama, it seems likely that he is at least on a watch list.

I’m happy to report that the McCarron-Webb wedding appears to have gone down without a hitch despite the worries about stalkers showing up to disrupt the affair. As far as I know, no FBI agents had to leg-sweep or tase or bludgeon or shoot any sex-crazed Katherine Webb fans who tried to burst in and stop the wedding.

AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb are now safely married. If those stalkers want to make trouble, they’ll have to answer directly to AJ McCarron and whatever weapon he prefers.
