Fighting at NFL training camps is apparently becoming the hip thing to do as yet another fight has broken out at an NFL training camp this afternoon. Today, the culprits were apart of the Cincinnati Bengals franchise.
Coley Harvey of ESPN gives us the breakdown of the fight on his twitter:
First scuffle of training camp for #Bengals. Looked like Clint Boling and Emmanuel Lamur got into it. Lamur then shoved A.J. Green

A.J. was among those who were trying to calm Lamur down. Lamur must have seen the wrong color and snapped. Fans shouted "Not A.J.!" #Bengals

The scuffle came at the end of a goal-line drill. Tensions a little high. Like Marvin Lewis said earlier, guys ready to hit someone else.

On the heels of the scuffle, Margus Hunt had a FG block. Said the other day he wants more chances for those #Bengals

If you are going to get into a fight at training camp, it is probably a good idea to stay away from your team’s best player. In this instance, it may not have been intelligent for Emmanuel Lamur to shove AJ Green.

This fight is among several others that broke out throughout the NFL this week. The Philadelphia Eagles showed no “brotherly love” when they got into two fights this week. The Cleveland Browns also got into it by starting multiple dog piles with a large majority of the team.
All it takes is one misstep and injury to realize how poor of a decision it is to fight at training camp. Hopefully the tension will settle and we will see less fights moving forward.
