It’s seemingly become a race to find the next hot girlfriend in college sports.
While girlfriends (or wives, in some rare cases) of college athletes were always of interest, it wasn’t until Brent Musburger blew up the girlfriend of University of Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron that interest became sky high.
That girlfriend was of course Katherine Webb, who unshockingly has went through her fifteen minutes of fame but that doesn’t mean there aren’t lovely ladies waiting in the wings.
First up was Lauralee McIntyre, girlfriend of UCLA outfielder Eric Filia. The busty blonde had her admirers but quickly flamed out considering she was seen at the College World Series and not the BCS Championship game.
And while we don’t expect Blake Bortles or the University of Central Florida to make the BCS, Bortles’ national recognition may bring his lady friend into the spotlight.
