When you’re LeBron James, a $1 dollar bill would probably seem pretty worthless considering you’re making hundreds of millions of dollars a year, most of which isn’t coming from your NBA contract but countless endorsements.

Still money is money – unless you’re James, who allegedly thinks that one-dollar bills are ‘too small’.
Speaking to well known personal trainer, Idan Ravin who is often referred to as the ‘Hoops Whisperer’, The New Yorker captured a conversation between he and WNBA player Skylar Diggins over a bottle of Gatorade (ironic given James’ huge endorsement with the company).
“With the Dream Catchers still in-season, Ravin was spending much of April working with Skylar Diggins, one of the best young players in the W.N.B.A. “It’s important to have somewhere private to take them,” he said one morning, standing outside the private Manhattan gym where he holds his workouts. “No cameras, no fans. It makes them vulnerable.” After Diggins arrived, Ravin bought a Gatorade from a vending machine and left a quarter in the change slot—a practice that, he says, he got from LeBron James, who deems one-dollar bills too small to bother with.”
Diggins, unaware of James’ financial habits, cursed at the idea, suggesting she’d be more than happy to take a dollar.
I’m with you, Skylar, I’m with you.
I don’t think LeBron is in any danger of running into financial difficulties, though, you have to think he’s not the only professional athlete who doesn’t value a dollar. They, unfortunately, don’t have near the financial backing that James does however.
