More from World Cup

“We’ve certainly made no secret of the fact that all our focus at this point is about Ghana,” midfielder Michael Bradley said after training on Tuesday, via U.S. Soccer’s website. “[We’re] making sure that we do everything we can so that on June 16 we step on the field and are ready to leave it all out there knowing that a good result puts us in a really good spot.”

“We’re there. We’re ready. We’re definitely at the point now where if the game was today, we’d be happy and put on a good performance,” goalkeeper Tim Howard said, via U.S. Soccer’s website. “It will get here soon enough. The tournament’s started now, so lots of games to watch just as fans. A couple more sleeps and we’re there. It has been a long time coming, but we know it’s right around the corner.”
