The Mexican national team taking on Brazil in the 2014 World Cup on Tuesday was the game of the day. It featured the two teams atop the Group A table going head to head in an intriguing match up.

It has been a tightly contested game and there was an interesting non-call 20 minutes into the second half. Bernard fouled Paul Aguilar on the right wing and was awarded a free kick.
The Mexican players pleaded for a yellow card. Even Mexico head coach Miguel Herrera pleaded for a yellow card from the touchline. Of course Herrera was more hilarious in his pleading, pantomiming the act of a referee pulling up and holding the yellow card multiple times.
He then followed it up with a come on shrug with his hands out to the side. Unfortunately it wasn’t any more successful in persuading the referee, but he gets points for creativity and a spot in our hearts for the effort.
