NBA Rumors: Phoenix Suns draft workouts hint at potential Kevin Love trade?
By Bryan Rose
When news broke suggesting Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love wanted a trade from the only franchise he has known, the Phoenix Suns were one of the first teams to allegedly throw their hat in the ring.

Their inclusion made sense on a variety of levels as not only could the Suns use a power forward, let alone one of an All-Star variety, but unlike a lot of teams they actually have a stockpile of draft picks and talented, young players on their roster.
Needless to say, it would seem as if their assets would match up well with the Timberwolves requirements and that has some believing the Suns recent workouts of point guards is an indication that a potential trade could be brewing.
With both Eric Bledsoe and Goran Dragic on the roster, the Suns don’t need a point guard, especially in comparison to other positions of need. Though, I will say in fairness it’s possible (though very unlikely, given his restricted status) that the Suns could potentially lose Bledsoe in free agency though that would be on their own accord given they can match any offer he receives.
All that said, it’s a bit odd to see the Phoenix Suns focusing so hard on point guard draftee’s given the makeup of their current roster, unless there were ideas of trading one of them to the Timberwolves in exchange for Love.
Granted, as most rumors are at this point of the year, it appears to be speculation though it does look as if the Phoenix Suns are shopping for some backcourt insurance.
