Luis Suarez always dreamt of Barcelona
By Mike Dyce
Luis Suarez has carried his form from Liverpool’s thrilling 2013-14 season into the World Cup, scoring twice while leading Uruguay to a win over England. It has only generated more interest in the goal-scoring striker who has looked unstoppable as of late, and as a consequence only created more transfer rumors.

Namely that Real Madrid and Barcelona are vying for his services. There reportedly is a release clause in Suarez’s contract that would be triggered by a 64 million pound offer.
If Suarez had his choice, it’d be Barcelona according to his former Ajax teammate Gabri Garcia.
“[Suarez] has always had in his head that some day he would be there,” Gabri told Catalan radio show Esports en Xarxa, in quotes reported by Mundo Deportivo.
“I believe that he would be a great signing for Barca. He would adapt very quickly, very well, and would fit in very well inside the club. Also, he has his wife’s family living in Barcelona.”

Suarez’s fatherin-law has come out and said that the time is right for Suarez to leave Liverpool.
“This is the right moment for him to move,” Gustavo Balbi told La Sexta. “He has shown all that he is. He has nothing else to prove there [in England]. If he leaves the Premier League, his best option would be to come here to Spain. In Liverpool he is very loved and respected, so he would not go to another English team out of respect for the fans. We would like him here, to have the grandkids here in Spain. I am convinced he would do well if he came here.”
The move could be coming, Mundo Deportivo and Sport are both reporting that talks between Barcelona and Liverpool have started, while Real Madrid is seriously interested.
