According to the Bengals official website, Sanu has had a “monster” training camp in the first few practices at Paul Brown Stadium.
Sanu is getting an opportunity to shine thanks to an injury to No. 2 wide receiver Marvin Jones, and he is taking full advantage of what he has been given.
The website states:
"In the meantime, Sanu, the slot receiver has had a monster camp. Just on Monday alone he threw a touchdown pass, caught a touchdown pass in the red zone, and took a handoff for a run.Lapham saw him on the sidelines and said, “You the man,” and Sanu said, “I’m just a guy behind the other two guys.”"
Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson seems to be willing to move Sanu around, and it has been paying off early in camp.
If the Bengals can continue to see positive signs from Sanu in practice during the coming weeks and during training camp, then we could see the wideout more actively involved in the offense this year.
