While trading Kevin Love was likely a difficult decision for the Minnesota Timberwolves, it seems as if the fan base is already ready to move on.

With the All-Star power forward now a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Timberwolves fans have thrown their support behind Andrew Wiggins, the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft and key piece sent back to the T’Wolves in the blockbuster trade.
The team introduced Andrew Wiggins to a hyped crowd at the Minnesota State Fair recently and in the audience were some pretty awesome t-shirt’s as you can see below.
Having already sold out twice, the 1500 ESPN booth ‘Gettin’ Wiggy With It’ shirt has become the hottest selling item in Minneapolis and it has become difficult to keep the item in stock.
"Get Wiggy with it at the Target Center this season! The “Gettin’ Wiggy With It” shirts SOLD OUT TWICE at the 1500 ESPN Booth at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair. Due to the extremely popular demand, we are making these available online!"
According to the t-shirt creator, both Andrew Wiggins and head coach/president Flip Saunders already have their own ‘Gettin’ Wiggy With It’ shirt.
Of course, creating clothing for star rookie talent off a popular culture icon/reference isn’t a new tradition as we’ve seen such in the past.
Just this year the ‘Jabari Parker’ t-shirt making a play off the game system Atari was introduced and in the past we’ve seen Sacramento Kings fans employ a ‘RekeDMC’ campaign when the team had both Tyreke Evans and DeMarcus Cousins on the roster.
The ‘Gettin’ Wiggy With It’ shirt is of course a reference to Will Smith’s popular 1997 hit song, “Gettin’ Jiggy With It”.
