Tight end was a feast or famine position week 1 with huge performances from Julius Thomas and Vernon Davis while other starting options like Jordan Cameron, Tyler Eifert, and Jason Witten all struggled due to injury or offensive ineffectiveness. If you are getting ready to hit the waiver wire looking for a TE, there are a few names you need to know.

Several of the options on this list actually were trending down in their ownership coming into the week, but they still make great pickup options going forward after solid performances week one. There are other names on this list that have yet to break out, but they have the potential based on their skill set and offensive system to be productive fantasy options down the road.
All the names on my waiver wire pickups lists are available in at least half of ESPN leagues. Depending on your team needs and league scoring, the order in which you should claim these players may vary a bit, but overall this is the general order I would try to add them.
