Minnesota Timberwolves sign Glenn Robinson III

Although they till have veterans like center Nikola Peković and point guard Ricky Rubio, there is an obvious youth movement in the Minnesota Timberwolves’ organization.

They sent power forward Kevin Love to the Cleveland and dealt both forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and point guard Alexey Shved to the Philadelphia 76ers in order to acquire the number one overall pick in the 2014 draft, swingman Andrew Wiggins, the number one overall pick of the 2013 draft, forward Anthony Bennett, and veteran forward Thaddeus Young.

They also added a couple players in the draft like former UCLA Bruins’ guard Zach LaVine and former Michigan Wolverines’ swginman Glenn Robinson III.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Robinson has officially signed with the Timberwolves.

Robinson, who measured in at 6’6.75″ and 211 lbs. with a 6’10” wingspan at the NBA’s Scouting Combine,  averaged 13.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game last season. He shot 48.8% from the fiedl, 30.6% from beyond the arc and 75.7% from the free throw line. Jonathan Givony of Draft Express ranks Robinson as the 33rd-best prospect in the draft.
