Andrew Wiggins most comparable to Paul George or Tracy McGrady

Although Andrew Wiggins has yet to play a single NBA game for the Minnesota Timberwolves, the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft is already being compared to some of the best the league has had to offer in recent years.

An athletic freak, talent has never been a question for Andrew Wiggins. The biggest pressing issue with the former Kansas star is his desire to be great. Does he have the drive of a Kobe Bryant or a Michael Jordan? Or would he prefer to play more of a secondary role like a Scottie Pippen?
That’s not an answer we’re likely to know for a few seasons at least, though that hasn’t stopped many from comparing Andrew Wiggins to current and former elite NBA talent.
"At 18, I certainly wouldn’t place a hard-set label o any type of limitations on his game. That said, depending upon how much of an offensive game he continues to round out and develop, I could see him ranging anywhere from a Paul George type player to even a Tracy McGrady (hopefully without the injuries)."
Not only is Andrew Wiggins yet to fully develop an NBA game, he’s yet to develop an NBA body. Given that, it’s likely the top overall pick will take some time to come into his own.
Expectations certainly need to be tempered regarding the newest Minnesota Timberwolves star, though there’s no denying he has a very bright future ahead.
