Nobody outside of the Bronx is going to feel bad for the New York Yankees who are going to miss the postseason despite spending enough in free agency this past winter to fund a third world country.

But adding insult to injury? That’s going over the top, isn’t it Jose Bautista? Apparently not as the Toronto Blue Jays outfielder decided he’d have some fun with the New York Yankees fans on Saturday evening.

Bautista hauled in the final out of an inning and fans were clamoring for the powerful slugger to toss the ball up their way. Being the nice guy that he is, Jose Bautista turned around and threw the ball into the stands and…wait. He didn’t throw the ball?! Nope. In fact, Jose Bautista decided to fake a throw and put the ball back in his glove, smiling as he ran towards the Toronto Blue Jays dugout.

Possibly feeling bad or having a moment or reprieve, the Toronto Blue Jays outfielder later decided to throw a ball into the stands but he had apparently irritated the New York Yankees faithful as they decided to throw the ball back on the field.

Bautista and his Toronto Blue Jays had the final laugh though as they came away with a 6-3 victory though still sit behind the New York Yankees in the standings.
