Andrew Wiggins says Timberwolves fit his playing style
By Josh Hill
The Minnesota Timberwolves took a big gamble when they traded away Kevin Love to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, but already the gamble is paying off. There wasn’t a lot of hope with Love in town, but now that Wiggins is in town, things appear to be changing.

Wiggins is already fitting in with the Timberwolves as he’s noted publicly that the playing style being installed by head coach Flip Saunders fits what already knows.
“I’m liking it,” Wiggins said. “They kind of broke it down to me before. All the plays are really coming together. This is my first couple days learning the plays on-court, you know? It kind of fits my playing style. I’m just trying to learn it.”
This is what Wolves fans want to be hearing, as the team has been down in the dumps and just traded away their All-Star forward to Cleveland. But in exchange they got perhaps the brightest beacon of hope they’ve ever had, and that’s more valuable than anything anyone else could have offered in the trade.
The fact that Wiggins is already fitting in and is interested in turning the culture around in Minnesota makes the trade that much sweeter.
