Eddie Lacy frustrated with Green Bay Packers running game
By Bryan Rose
With Aaron Rodgers under center and Eddie Lacy in the backfield, there was plenty of reason for optimism for the Green Bay Packers this season.

However, through three games the Packers look very suspect, much of that due to their sub-par defense and iffy running game. That has made life difficult on Aaron Rodgers, something Eddie Lacy is well aware of. The second-year running back has yet to amass over 43-yards in a game this season and expressed frustration with the Green Bay Packers running attack after Sunday’s loss to the Detroit Lions.
“We have to change our mind-set,” Lacy said. “We had a few opportunities as backs that we didn’t take advantage of, whether we made the wrong read or tried to press too much. It’s a long season and we’re going to get it to where we need it to be.”
Lacy wasn’t sure where to point the blame, either at himself or the offensive line, though did suggest that his fumble changed the course of the game. The Green Bay Packers running back also hinted that opposing defenses may now have a better idea of what he likes to do on the field, so Eddie Lacy hinted he may need to change some things up to become the effective running back he was last season.
Lacy and his Green Bay Packers will have an opportunity to turn things around this weekend against the Chicago Bears.
