For the third week in a row, the San Francisco 49ers amassed a large lead only to see in dwindle as time ticked away. Thankfully San Francisco was able to hold on and win their first game of the season against the Dallas Cowboys but the same can’t be said against the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals.

The two heartbreaking losses seemingly caught up with San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore, who attempted to answer postgame questions though informed media that he was too upset to talk.
"Running back Frank Gore went to the sideline whenever the 49ers were in their five-receiver sets. He carried just once in the second half and finished with six rushes for 10 yards. Hyde had three carries for 13 yards.Gore was too upset to speak afterward.“I can’t talk right now,” he said after a minute of questions. “I’m sorry. I can’t talk.”"
While it’s not clear if Gore was upset about his usage or the fact that the San Francisco 49ers again fell apart, it seems safe to assume that he was frustrated over the loss.
Gore, who is the San Francisco 49ers’ all-time leading rusher spent many years playing for a sub-par 49ers franchise and only recently has been able to enjoy their success which includes three straight trips to the NFC title game.
Now with his career in the twilight, it’s possible he could be sensing the San Francisco 49ers do have problems and a trip to the postseason isn’t as guaranteed as he may have thought.
