Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz work out John Stockton’s son, David Stockton
By Bryan Rose
Just because you come from an NBA bloodline doesn’t mean you’re destined to be the next star in the league, though you are likely to get a few more looks than the average guy.

Case in point, David Stockton, who is set to work out for both the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz this week. David is of course the son of Hall of Fame point guard, John Stockton though went undrafted out of Gonzaga earlier this year despite a solid college career.
Stockton’s workout with the Utah Jazz will be his second.
"David Stockton worked out with the Thunder last week and will work out with the Jazz this week, according to sources.Stockton is a point guard out of Gonzaga where he averaged 7.4 points, 2.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists as senior.Stockton was at the NBA Summer League with the Suns."
Given David Stockton’s pedigree and the fact that he not only played well during Summer League but also had a solid collegiate career, you have to think there’s a place in the NBA for the guard. It may be towards the back end of a bench, but in a league desperate for true point guards, Stockton should get some run.
It shouldn’t take more than a minimum level contract from either the Oklahoma City Thunder or Utah Jazz to snag John Stockton’s son.
