Zach Randolph is beloved by Grizzlies fans. Apparently beloved enough for them to wear a bow tie with his face on it. This is a comical yet genius gesture by the Memphis Grizzlies to give out ‘Z-bow ties’ to their fans. I don’t recall any other team putting a players face on a bow tie, so the idea is original.

Don’t be surprised to see other teams emulating the Grizzlies idea in the near future.

Randolph has been on the Grizzlies since 2009 and on June 30th he signed a 2 year $30 Million dollar extension to stay in Memphis. Randolph and the Grizzlies were bounced from the first round last season by Kevin Durant and the Thunder. Randolph was unable to play in game 7 due to the fact that he lost his temper and punched Steven Adams in the jaw during game 6.

The Z-bow tie is now the new trending style around Memphis. If Randolph himself put on the tie and wore it to a game next season that would set social media on fire.
