Phoenix Suns rumors: Little interest in Eric Bledsoe trade
By Bryan Rose
In less than a week, Eric Bledsoe will need to sign his qualifying offer with the Phoenix Suns if he’s to play basketball this season.

Of course, the Phoenix Suns could attempt to trade their restricted guard before that deadline strikes, but that doesn’t appear something they’re very interested in doing. While the Minnesota Timberwolves (among others) have been linked to Eric Bledsoe during the past week, the Phoenix Suns are said to have ‘little interest‘ in completing a sign-and-trade deal, this according to Grantland.
"The Suns have shown little interest in any Bledsoe deal, per sources around the league, and unless Phoenix adores Vonleh, the Hornets don’t appear to have the goods."
If the Phoenix Suns truly aren’t interested in trading Eric Bledsoe, it’s either because they feel they can convince him to stay after the season or feel a sign-and-trade scenario can be worked out once the season concludes. Of course, such a move doesn’t come without risk as Eric Bledsoe has proven himself to be oft-injured. If the veteran was to hurt himself again, that would limit his suitors in a sign-and-trade scenario after the season though he could be cheaper to re-sign for the Suns as well.
It’s difficult to tell if the trade rumors surrounding Eric Bledsoe are agent driven, though for now it appears as if the former Kentucky guard will open the season with the Phoenix Suns.
Assuming he does sign his one-year qualifying offer, Bledsoe will be given a full no-trade clause.
