After returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers in free agency, LeBron James essentially suggested he would remain with the organization for the rest of his playing career.

Potentially attempting to protect their investment, the Cleveland Cavaliers are expected to reduce the minutes of LeBron James this season, this according to Sam Amico. However, don’t expect a major reduction as Amico only expects the Cavs to reduce his floor time by a small amount.
"Yes. Not much. But some."
LeBron James played 37:41 per game for the Miami Heat during the 2013-14 season and never played below 37:31 which took place during his second season in South Beach. As for his previous stint in Cleveland, the Cavaliers often ran James out on the court for more than 40 minutes per game, something that’s not expected this season.
Looking rather spry and svelte thanks to his new diet there’s no reason to believe LeBron James couldn’t easily eclipse the 40-minute mark for the Cleveland Cavaliers this season, though there is no reason for such to happen. It’s likely that James will fall in the 35-36 minute range per game which is still among the most played in the NBA routinely.
It’s also expected that LeBron James’ cramping issues that he suffered from in Miami are likely to alleviate themselves with the added weight loss.
Simply put expect to see James on the floor a little less during the regular season but come the postseason, it’ll be all LeBron James, all the time.
