When Roddy White has been on the field, the Atlanta Falcons wide receiver produces. Of course, keeping White on the field has proven to be rather problematic recently as he has dealt with injuries to his ankle and hamstring.

Thankfully though it appears as if the former Pro Bowl talent is ready to return to the field as Roddy White suggested he plans to play in Atlanta’s Week 4 contest against the Minnesota Vikings.
“I feel good,” White said, via the Falcons official website. “If I didn’t, then I wouldn’t be talking to y’all right now. But yeah, I feel good. It was kind of frustrating going out there and watching (vs. Tampa). Every time I watch a football game from the sideline, I’m kind of frustrated not being out there with my teammates, but I’m ready to roll.”
Of course, hamstring injuries can be lingering in nature so the Atlanta Falcons are likely to be rather cautious with their wide receiver, though he seems determined to get back onto the gridiron this weekend.
White was somewhat of an ‘iron man’ before last season as he’s now only missed four games during his 10-year career, though all four of those missed contests have come since last season. Hopefully it’s just a case of freak injuries derailing White and the veteran isn’t breaking down after a decade of professional football.
The former UAB standout has ten catches for 114 yards in two games this season.
