The Cleveland Cavaliers already have the contract of center Brendan Haywood, which will become unguaranteed next summer and have since added the unguaranteed contract of guard Keith Bogans. That’s why many believe the Cavaliers are readying themselves to make another big move.

Larry Coon of Basketball Insiders broke down what kind of deal the Cavaliers can trade for.
"Varejao’s $9.7M contract is $4M guaranteed (unless a trigger date passed recently for more of it to be picked up), so that gives them $5.7M in non-guaranteed salary right there — but it’s attached to guaranteed salary, so do I include it or not?And when do you do the trade? If we wait another year, until after next July 1, then Brendan Hayward’s $10.523M is non-guaranteed as well. Or, they can trade him now, as long as the receiving team is willing to wait until next July to dump his salary.And right now Alex Kirk is non-guaranteed, but he can’t be traded until Dec. 15. Likewise, while Bogans can be traded right now, his salary can’t be aggregated with another salary in a trade for two months."
The Cavaliers already may have the most talent in the NBA with LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving and if they can make another big attention, they could be well on their way to a championship.
