“We’re motivated to try to get something done if it makes sense for everybody, and our hope and intention is to do so,” Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said via Josh Robbins of The Orlando Sentinel.

The Magic have been in talks with both players’ agents.

“We’ve been in discussions with both Tobias’ and Nik’s representatives,” Hennigan explained. “We’ll continue to be in discussions with them. We’re motivated to try to get something done if it makes sense for everybody, and our hope and intention is to do so.”

The deadline to get a deal done is October 31. If they don’t come to an agreement, Vučević and Harris will become restricted free agents in 2015.
