David Ortiz talks about Derek Jeter’s last home game

Yesterday’s New York Yankees game was so amazing that no one would be surprised if a movie is made about it someday. It had the whole sports world buzzing, including Red Sox slugger David Ortiz left his input on the game.

What Ortiz said is 100 percent true. It does seem as if the game was planned and it was such a fitting end to the career of five time World Series champion Derek Jeter’s Yankee Stadium career. What’s going to be bizarre and out of the ordinary this weekend is going to be hearing ‘Derek Jeter’ chants in Fenway Park.

We’re used to hearing profanity and boo’s yelled in Jeter’s direction at Fenway Park, but this being Jeter’s last series ever in the MLB, a different reaction will be present.
