Dwyane Wade says goal is to play in every Miami Heat game
By Bryan Rose
Although Dwyane Wade hasn’t played in more than 76 games for the Miami Heat since the 2010-11 season, the former Marquette star suggests he’s healthy and he plans to be much more reliable this season.

In fact, the All-Star says his goal is to play in every Miami Heat game this year. That’s what Wade suggested to Ira Winderman on Saturday morning, hinting that the ‘maintenance’ plan the Miami Heat used last season almost worked.
Where Wade is getting that idea seems unknown, though feeling well Wade believes Miami Heat fans will be seeing him on the floor a significant amount.
Wade, who says he didn’t work on his three-point shot during the offseason has played in just 172 regular season games out of a possible 246 the past three seasons. Add in his troubled knees and another year of age and wear, you have to wonder where Dwyane Wade is getting the over-the-top predictions.
Maybe it’s just that Wade is feeling good right now and believes it’s actually possible for him to make it through a season without missing a game, though that’s unrealistic for most, let alone somebody with injury woes.
It’s certainly nice to see Dwyane Wade feeling spry, but you hope it’s not a false sense of security once he begins playing.
