Williams has been relatively quiet in the Bills first three games with a total of five receptions and 50 yards and zero touchdowns, but he came through in a big way in the game against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
With the Bills trailing 20-10, Manuel found Williams after a coverage breakdown to score from 80 yards out on the ensuing possession agter Randy Bullock kicked a field goal to give the Texans a 10-point lead.
Williams gained 30 more yards on this single play than he had in the previous three games combined as he leads the team in receiving yards on the day. But the Bills will need another big play from him or one of his teammates to overcome their current 23-17 deficit at the time of publishing.
Will Williams be the guy to make a play?
