Apple bringing a gold iPad
Apple has been reported to be looking at unveiling a new iPad for quite some time. In most of those rumors, the timeframe has been sometime in October. Now it sounds like the next line of the ever popular iPad, could include a gold version of the Apple tablet.

Lately, Apple has continued to roll out their more expensive devices in a further spectrum of colors. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are both offered in three colors, and it isn’t just shades of gray. Gold has crept its way into the foreground in the Tim Cook era, something that Steve Jobs would likely scoff at.
At any rate, according to Bloomberg, the new iPad will include a gold option. This would follow the trend of the newer devices. Apple also is scheduled to be releasing an iPhone 5S and Apple Watch in full 18k gold.
As of late, Apple has watched iPad sales dip and they have done so on a year by year trend. Unfortunately for Apple, without a significant overhaul, there just isn’t enough to continue to warrant a purchase. The iPad is truly a one time buy, and without significant upgrades, it will stay that way.
Look for global sales of the iPad to continue to propel the device, but gold or not, it doesn’t look like Apple is going to be able to continue to pump out the iPad at an alarming rate. We anticipate the new iPad announcement in the coming weeks.
