With Steve Nash, Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson on the Los Angeles Lakers roster, the team wasn’t really in desperate need for a point guard. Though, Kobe Bryant seems happy they added another in Ronnie Price.

Likely signed as insurance due to Nash’s injury woes and Clarkson being a rookie, Ronnie Price has been around the NBA’s proverbial block though has impressed Kobe Bryant during that time who suggested he was a big fan of the former Utah Valley State star.
“Price looked really good. He looked like he could run all day,” Bryant said. “He’s in phenomenal shape. When he was in Utah, he gave us a lot of problems,” Bryant said. “He really turned a few games around for them … with his energy and ability to get to the basket. He’s an underrated shooter.”
Signed a non-guaranteed contract, it’s no certainty that Ronnie Price will make the Los Angeles Lakers final roster though seems to have the right fan in his corner.
Extremely athletic, the only thing that holding Price back from having a permanent home in the NBA has been his height as front offices fear commitment to players them deem too short. Still, he’s being given every shot to win a spot on the Los Angeles Lakers roster and seems to be making a positive impression already.
